The City Clerk’s office oversees the City’s legislative background and upholds and safeguards official municipal documents and records in accordance with Federal and State legal mandates and local policies.

According to the Missouri Sunshine Law, the majority of records held by public entities are accessible for inspection and/or duplication by individuals.

Information from all Board meetings is accessible online under the Government tab. Information prior to 2011 is retained in the City Clerk’s office, please submit a Public Records Request to obtain these records. Please be as specific as possible about the records you are requesting.

The Missouri Sunshine Law authorizes public agencies to charge fees for providing access to or furnishing copies of public records. The current fees are listed below. 

For search, retrieval, accompanying, and returning to their proper storage all City documents shall be:

• The current hourly rate of the City Clerk or Deputy City Clerk, whichever is less.

For copies of documents:

• Made on the City’s copy machine or other equipment available at City Hall – ten cents ($. l0) per side of a page.
• That must be made elsewhere – the actual charges imposed for making the copies.
• Flash Drives:  $5.00 each.
• Time of City Staff making the copies will be the current hourly rate of the administrative staff.
