All required documents and signatures must accompany the application in order for the application to be considered complete. No permit will be processed without the owner’s signature. A City of Lake Lotawana business license is required for all contractors and subcontractors doing business in the City, the application is available on the website.
Required inspections are listed on your building permit. Building inspections are performed by IBTS, contractors should contact IBTS at inspectkc@ibts.org or call 816-768-0805.
Right of way inspections (sidewalk and driveway approaches) are performed by Lamp Rynearson, contractors should contact kenny@lamprynearson.orgto request those inspections.
Permits are valid for one year from the date issued.
Note ... If requested permit is for property within the Lakeside Residential zoning district, it is strongly recommended that the applicant contact the Lake Lotawana Association at 816-578-4272 to ask about their permitting requirements.
Construction work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
